Dedicated Project Salvo Mag Fed Conversion Kit Support
« on: September 27, 2010, 03:58:49 PM »

This is where you can post questions and get information on the mag fed conversion kit as well as helping others to put their kits together.

Tacamo respects your love for the US Army® Project Salvo®…and your desire to try out the hot new magazine-only game formats, like at “Operation: End War,” and an increasing number of events across the country. When you want to get that hopper out of your way, open up your field of vision, improve the balance and natural point of aim of your marker, and get rocking with a true mil-sim piece that not only looks but also reloads and points the same as the real thing, you need the Tacamo Magazine Conversion Kit.

It works with the US Army® Project Salvo® you already own—that’s the beauty of this revolutionary aftermarket accessory.

Disassemble your US Army® Project Salvo®, and follow the included instructions to transfer the internal parts to the Tacamo Magazine Conversion Kit. After assembly, you’ll have a marker that retains the heart and soul of the US Army® Project Salvo® you know and love, but accepts detachable magazines instead of ugly, noisy, bulky hoppers.

Then you can rock 20 rounds at a time, making every shot count like a pump player…but relying on the semi-auto firepower of your trusted marker, and the spring-fed reliability (a ball in the chamber every time—no matter the rate of fire, or angle of the marker) of the RAP4 magazine.

Tacamo’s engineers have been working on this kit for a long time, getting the compatibility perfect…and then focusing on the aesthetics outside. The Tacamo US Army® Project Salvo® Magazine Conversion Kit retains the M4-inspired cosmetics styling, allows you to keep on using the collapsible stock and tactical forearm with all those RIS rails…and enables you to ditch that faux magazine in favor of a real one that holds 20 paintballs and swaps out in the blink of an eye for real-world reloads—real fast!

If you want the advantages and aesthetics of a magazine fed marker, but without sacrificing the onboard paint capacity of a hopper, pick up a RAP4 Box Magazine and put 250 balls onboard your marker.

When you’re serious about woodsball, mil-sim, looking authentic or just having fun, you need to take your US Army® Project Salvo® to the next level with Tacamo!

Key Features Include:
  - Enables you to accept RAP4 Interchangeable Magazines
  - Improve handling, balance, natural point of aim
  - All necessary parts for conversion are included
  - You can still use your hopper when you need to
  - Completely replaces the body panels of your marker
  - Retain and use the marker’s internal parts and most accessories
  - Opens up your field of view
  - Breathe new life into old designs
  - Designed to enhance the aesthetics of your chosen marker
  - Takes you to a whole new level of tactical paintball!

This kit includes:
  - 1 x Magazine Conversion Kit
  - 1 x 20 Rounds Magazine

are response and e triggers still workable after the conversion? and it said a hopper is able to be put on with it when needed, does that include if you upgraded to a cyclone feed with salvo?  really love this idea for the mag feed for these guns, great job tacomo.  those are my only concerns.

#3 the host runs inside the body and out back - from there  you can choose your air stock style to attach your remote line
check out the video below with the tippmann x7 phenom

yes response triggers and even e triggers are compatible
you can get the cyclone feed for your project salvo - it is compatible with the kit

I ordered a tacamo kit for my tippmann sierra one/project salvo. In the post on this forum, it says I can keep my old stock. but a different post in the thread, the reply says i need to get a new stock. my question is, how does the air connect, since there isn't a line under grip like the stock model. Do i have to get a new air-thru stock/remote line, or a stock where the air goes inside?

Ok, I have a pretty much stock Salvo and have pre purchased the mag feed conversion for it. Problem is, I replaced the stock 1" barrel with a 7/8" apex 2 barrel and the barrel shroud basically becomes shacky and pretty much useless. I had to add a picatinny riser between the barrel shroud and the reciever just to stabilize it so that I could use the weapon. Does the Tacamo kit address this in any way or is this just a fault with the design that we have to live with?

Something you can do is wrap electrical tape around your barrel. This will make it less/not shaky, and leaves very little residue when taken off, if any. That way, you won't have to sacrifice the cool look of your gun by having a random riser there.

So air through stock is the only way to go? And my stock class shroud is compatible with the Tacamo kit? If so I'm so in.

#2-If so will said stock be fitted for a remote line
#3-Will the stock shroud for the Salvo fit on it or will we be given a new shroud?

hello , i just install the feed mag kit.
I m very happy !
But i would like explain few problem :
- we can not reinstall a cyclone loader
- we have a new triggler ( a big double ) i m sorry i prefer a normal one as all the other ( the T98 have the normal)
- i have 2 holes that we can not have any plastic to hide them?

the video to help is good but we don t have same part :) we have to guess the new parts  :) because T98 kit is different from project salvo:)

but so i m happy i just hope you can propose one normal triggler and some plastic hide for whole in future .
But great job now i will test on the field :)
