Tacamo FX3 underfold paintball gun -Hopper feedneck
« on: January 08, 2010, 09:51:24 PM »

Hello fellow Tacamo user's, I sure look forward to this website. I have recently purchased a Tacamo and must say it is the best looking mil-sim gun out there by far. Nothing compares to it from right out of the box, although if you want to spend big money on upgrades for other marker's to match the realizim, that is your choice. I have just started using it and the one thing I really enjoyed, is the excellent accuracy, which is miles ahead of a lot of other marker's out there. As fellow owner's , I have a question to ask of you concerning the feedneck on the gun,and wonder if anybody out there, could tell me ? The question is :  The feedneck on the gun that come's stock with it, fit's a standard hopper no problem, but I want to use my Halo B v35 with rip, to capitalize on the quicker rate of fire. The problem is the Halo do's not fit the feedneck, and I know I could sand it down and make it fit that way, but I am being stubborn and don't want to do that unless absolutely no other way. I was wondering if any of you folk's have used  any  other type of feedneck  adapter, that would work? Any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated.  Thank-You  for your time.

Thank's for the welcome , and  I appreciate the info on the new feedneck coming out. I'll just wait, and buy one a.s.a.p. Any other mod's that you know would work eg.. barrels, electronic grip's, etc.? Not that I want to really change anything, but it is nice to know what option's, if any, are out there. Again, thanks for the info, and have a good one!

Hey guys just found this site, great to see we can chat with fellow owners.
I have been searching the net for info and stuff on modding the AK for a while and this is what I have found so far!

-The internals of this marker is a Spyder clone (stack tubed blowback)
-Adjustable velocity range of 200-400 fps, with a maximum range of 300 feet and   effective range at 150 feet
-The Thread on tip was compatible with rap4 muzzle breaks
-You can use a Alamocitypb Delrin bolt or spyder ACS Delrin bolt
-Replace trigger with a Spyder Firestorm Trigger

That's what I found out so far, hope it helps!

Hey stevieb357, Thanks for the info, it is greatly appreciated. I have not had my Tacamo very long, and the more a guy know's about a gun , all the better. In regard's to owning one, have you had your's very long, and if so, what are your thought's on it. I haven't had a lot of time to try mine out, (fx 3 Krinkov underfold) and wonder how your's is for accuracy. I found mine to be pretty darn accurate at close range,(20 -30 ft.),but so far have not shot much further. Have you had a chance to really shoot your's? Mine is pretty much right out of the box, but that will probably change down the road. Anyway, Thanks again, and glad to hear from someone who know's more about the gun than I do.

Hows it going hanznfranz. well I have owned the Tacoma for about 1 1/2 years now I haven't really played a lot with this maker (cause i own other guns) but got a few games in. Well for one the marker is built solid  I have had that marker bashed against everything I can think of and kept on shooting.

I found that the accuracy was pretty good for a stock barrel but recommend getting a smart parts barrel I think its the one that they use on the Spider MR1/MR2 cause it seems like that's the only one that could fit cause of the barrel thickness but haven't tried it yet.

The marker has a nice weight to it, it can get a  little heavy at times when you got it hanging on your shoulder for a while but not to bad.I love how it turns heads at the field, with everyone saying "WOW that's a sweet gun!" All in all it is a pretty good gun!
I enjoy using it and plan to buy some tactical AK front gripes for it. I have seen a guy at my field who had changed the bottom wood grip to a vertical wood grip with some modding.

Other things you can do is take the gun apart and replace the internal o-rings with new ones like the ones from your CO2 bottle unless they already did when you bought it!
(the old ones are black rings)

Well hope that help a bit!

Hi guys, I am a new member, I am glad I found this web page. My son just bought a Tacamo Ak 47, he loves it but he really wants an e-grip for the marker. Do any of you know where I can purchase one? Do I have to modify the marker in any way when I install the new e-grip?
Will the e-grip be reliable and operational with the Tacamo AK 47? If any of you can help me out in this matter, it would deeply appreciated, thanks.

Hi,
the electronic trigger for the Tacamo AK will be coming out in about 3 months.  You can use a spyder etrigger but you will have to modify it.

Hi all I,m a milsim freak
I used to be obsessed making my markers fire extremely fast
but now i,m into more accuracy and less shots fired this gun will fire 18bps but doesn,t need to as it is quite accurate.
I like my makers to look real and they don,t come more real than this other than a magazine fed.
I modified the stock mechanical trigger into a full auto and my loader that is supposed to shoot 50bps can,t keep up.
Anyway I wrecked my spyder mr2 trying to install laser eyes and a virtue board.
{which was shooting 18bps but I wanted from a gun rated for 3bps.
So I put the trigger, barrel, assault body kitand riveted the carry handle from the mr2 onto the tacamo AK.
Yes you can put the spyder e trigger on but have to modify the trigger only.
With scope and tactical hopper it looks mean.
Oh yeah I had to shorten the firing bolt also.
Anyone can tell me how to slow down this full auto mod plz.

Hi Jetson, thank you for all the replies to our postings. Do you know when I can purchase the new e-grip and the new feedneck for the Tacamo Ak 47? Can I purchase the e-grip and the feedneck from this site when they are available or do I have to purchase them through RAP4? Is there a Canadian paintball store that I can purchase the new e-grip and feedneck from instead of buying them from the United States. Let me know, thank you.

The upgrade can be purchased through RAP4 and at a store near you.
They are scheduled to be out in May
