Has anyone else ran into any trouble with the 98 magazine upgrade kit? I got mine Friday and started upgrading my marker last night. I'm excited to see what it can do, but I have ran into a couple of issues. The big one is that the kit is supposed to be compatible with the response trigger and e-trigger, however when I tried to install my response trigger, the receiver half is too wide for the banjo fitting to reach into the grip and screw on.
I also liked the fact that you can switch back to a hopper when not wanting to use the magazine feed feature, but the front sight pin (Part TA2065 in Tippmann diagram) doesn't fit the upgrade kit so there is no way to secure the hopper/cyclone feed.
Another small problem I ran into is my box didn't have the O-Ring/Gasket listed as part #23 on the diagram. I contacted RAP4 about this already and am hoping they send me a replacement soon.
As far as my other opinions on the kit; It was frustrating for me to install, mainly due to the trigger assembly and pins lining up correctly when attempting to put the clam-shell together, and the grip/trigger assembly is made of plastic that I'm hoping will last. Kind of wish I would have originally chose the A5 instead of my 98 Platinum especially after getting this kit.
